About Royal Queens Poker

Royal Queens Poker is a premier, woman owned, community-driven poker league offering exciting live games, special events, and a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on professionalism, consistency, and elevating the player experience.

Job Summary

The Tournament Director (TD) is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of live poker tournaments. This includes setting up events, enforcing rules, handling disputes, upselling memberships, merchandise and venue sales and ensuring a smooth, fair, and enjoyable experience for all players.

We are partnered with several venues around metro Atlanta where we host games. This is a part time role and you typically will only do 1-2 games a week. Games last about 4-5 hours and generally start between 6:30-7:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute live poker tournaments according to established formats and schedules.

  • Greet players, explain tournament rules, and facilitate timely game starts.

  • Track player registrations, chip counts, blind levels, and prize structures.

  • Enforce poker rules and etiquette professionally and fairly.

  • Handle player disputes or irregularities with confidence and discretion.

  • Maintain a calm, organized presence throughout events.

  • Communicate clearly with players and staff during games.

  • Promoting games through social media and in person

  • Monitor game pace and keep events on schedule.

  • Submit nightly reports on your game stats

  • Ensure venue setup and breakdown meets event standards.

  • Represent the Royal Queens Poker brand with professionalism and integrity.

  • Upsell Memberships, merchandise, and venue sales

  • Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Texas Hold'em tournament structure and rules.

  • Previous experience running poker tournaments or similar events a plus

  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and managing crowds.

  • Tech-savvy (experience with poker software, tablets, or spreadsheets is a plus).

  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

  • Must be available evenings

  • Reliable transportation , laptop or computer required

Come Work With Us
Here is the pay structure for this position. Training will be paid at $50 per day. Once training is complete games are paid at $75 per game. Games last 4-5 hours. There are also bonus and commisson opportunities. I have read and agree to this strucure.
