OUR Story

Our Founders: Natascha Carpenter & Michelle Farmer

The driving force behind Royal Queens Poker is the visionary partnership of Natascha Carpenter and Michelle Farmer — two seasoned professionals both with over 18 years of experience in the industry.

The pair met through the Georgia poker scene, where they played and worked for other leagues. Over time, they began to notice critical gaps in their experiences — a lack of inclusivity, limited opportunities for beginners to learn the game, and very few spaces that celebrated Black ownership or offered a truly upscale poker environment. Most importantly, they saw a need for a league that genuinely prioritized community.

So, they decided to create it themselves.

Royal Queens Poker was born from that shared vision — a league that blends competition with connection, learning with luxury, and authenticity with accessibility. Since its launch, the company has grown faster than either founder anticipated, now boasting over 400 members, 9 venues, and games 7 days a week. Natascha and Michelle remain deeply committed to building an inclusive, empowering space where everyone feels welcome at the table.

Because at Royal Queens Poker, it’s not just a game… it’s a community.
